4 Features To Look For In Your Next Truck

If you are in the market for a new truck, you want to make sure that you purchase a truck that has all of the features that you need to fully enjoy the experience of owning a truck. You want to purchase a truck that has an extended cab, a nice stereo set-up, lots of chargers, and a way to wirelessly connect your phone to the stereo for a hands-free experience.

#1 Backseats

The first thing you want to look for is a truck with backseats. Trucks with only a front row of seats are becoming increasingly unpopular and more difficult to sell. If you want to be able to resell your vehicle down the road, be sure to purchase a truck that has an extended cab. This will make it easier for you to transport additional people and will give you a place to put your belongings that you don't want to put in the bed of your truck.

#2 Stereo Set-Up

Second, you want a truck that has a nice stereo set-up. You don't want to have to have to install a new stereo in order to get a good sound. Make sure that the stereo set-up allows you to plug in and connect your phone or MP3 device so you can access your digital music collection. If you are still into listening to music on CDs, be sure that your stereo set also has a CD player.

#3 Chargers

You want to have lots of chargers in your vehicle. Most devices are charged via USB outlets, so look for a truck that has USB outlets installed within the vehicle. It is also nice to have a 110-volt outlet. This will allow you to charge additional items with regular cords on them. This can be really nice if you take your truck camping or out into the wilderness. You can use items such as a vacuum cleaner, air blower, and other items that you need to plug into a traditional outlet.

#4 Phone Connection

Many states are passing laws that forbid you from using your cell phone with your hands when you drive. If you like to make phone calls and talk on the phone when you drive, you need a way to do so that is hands-free. A vehicle that is equipped with a hands-free system allows you to connect your phone to the stereo set-up and use your phone wirelessly. You want a set-up that will automatically sync to your phone whenever you get into your vehicle.

Look for these features when looking at different truck options, such as a new Ford F150.
